Witnesses sought to serious road traffic collision

Anybody who witnessed Wednesday's serious road traffic collision is asked to contact the police.

The incident occurred around 2.40pm on Wednesday, and involved two locally registered vehicles, a white panel van and a blue Peugeot car.

Both drivers were admitted to Nobles, one with a head injury and one with a serious leg injury.

It's thought there were multiple witnesses and police are keen to speak to them, especially those who had initially stopped at the scene.
