An exceptional woman has been recognised for her community work.
Avril Muller was awarded with the Citizen Award by New Michael Commissioners.
Avril worked hard in applying for funds to refurbish both the Michael Community and Commissioners Hall and other village wide improvements.
The commissioners also said she provided the best bonnag at its meetings!
