The work permits system on the Isle of Man is set to change.
Proposals are being put forward to make improvements to the current legislation.
One of the ideas is that high school teachers won't need to get a permit as the Island is still struggling to recruit teachers in specialist subject areas.
The Government say they want to keep with the needs of the economy by having a workforce with a varied rang of skills and expertise.
Copies of the consultation document can be downloaded from the Department’s website HERE or requested from the Department. Submissions regarding the proposals should be sent by post or email to the Department’s Legislation Officer, Jonathan Clague by Friday 25th March 2011.
