Work to Glen Lough Dip to get under way

The work includes the removal of the trees from alongside the road, the erection of a precast concrete retaining wall, and then filling in behind the wall and finally the road itself will be re-constructed.

In order to complete the work and protect the workforce, it will be necessary to occupy half the road width. Traffic will be able to use the remaining lane in both directions, which will be controlled using temporary traffic lights.

The works should be completed by early May and well before the start of the TT.
