The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for high tide today.
The warning about possible coastal overtopping runs until 1pm.
Forecasters say strong northeast winds will mean waves wash onto exposed roads and promenades.
Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades are most at risk at high tide at 10:50am.
