A number of youngsters from different households have been caught mixing at Noble’s Park this evening.
Police say they received calls about the situation earlier before attending the scene and say appropriate action has since been taken.
As a result, officers have since stated its important everyone does what they can to curb the spread of Covid-19 infection and are asking parents and guardians to be inquisitive about where younger members of their household may be.
They add children may be out meeting friends and could come home infected unknowingly which may result in more unknown community cases of the virus.
Finally, the constabulary says residents should continue to help each other with simple safety measures to help the wider community.
