Local snowboarding star Zoe Gillings is just about to finish her on snow training in Austria, before heading out to the first World cup SBX event in Colorado.
It's been a tough year for Zoe since losing her funding last season, forcing her to devise a business plan to fund herself.
Her 6 week training programme is significantly better than last years 4 days standing her in good stead for a strong season.
Zoe suffered a nasty head injury last week however resulting in temporary short term memory complications, she is now back to full health however.
Her season will get underway on December 15th.
