Karima Mahmoud and Adam Glanville: Police issue renewed appeal for help tracing mother and son, 7, missing since June

Police have said they are "increasingly concerned for the welfare" of a mother and her seven-year-old son who were last seen in southwest London in June.

Adam Glanville is believed to be with his mother, Karima Mahmoud, 43, and the pair have been missing since Monday 3 June, when they were spotted in Richmond.

Ms Mahmoud is in breach of a family court order and the Metropolitan Police, which issued a social media appeal in July, said on its website it is trying to locate both of them.

Detective Sergeant Mary Dawson, who is leading the investigation, said officers are again asking for the public's help after following "all lines of inquiry to locate the pair".

Ms Dawson said there is no reason to think either of them has come to any harm, but as time passes they are "increasingly concerned for their welfare".

Karima may have altered her appearance, the force said.
